Directions from A19/Thirsk
On reaching Thirsk follow sign’s to the A170 to Scarborough for about 10 miles, traveling up Sutton Bank. Take the turning to Malton along the B1257 and follow for another 8 miles, you will pass through the village’s of Sproxton, Stonegrave & Hovingham before reaching Slingsby. To reach the house, take the first turning left down into the village and follow the road round to the right passing the village green on your left hand side. On reaching the junction turn left onto Railway Street. You pass a few shops on your right, then The Grapes pub on your left. About 3 houses after this you’ll reach the Hall, there is a large tree at the bottom on the driveway.

Directions from A64/York
Follow the A64 from York to Scarborough & after about 11 miles take the left turning at Castle Howard, signposted ‘Slingsby 7 miles’ amongst other’s. Follow the long road, passing through the Castle Howard estate. You will eventually reach a crossroads at the top of Slingsby village. To reach the house, cross over and follow the road down into the village and continue on along Railway Street. You’ll pass shops on your right, the pub on your left and reach the house a couple of houses after the pub. You’ll see the house on the left, there is a large tree at the bottom on the driveway.
